Mai 2026 wurde die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Hollenstein\/Ybbs um 05:22 Uhr zu einem Brand der Alarmstufe B3 gerufen. Der Alarmierungstext lautete \u201eSchneue neben Wald brennt\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aufgrund der Lage wurden auch die Feuerwehren Opponitz, St. Georgen\/Reith sowie Waidhofen\/Ybbs-Stadt alarmiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beim Eintreffen der Einsatzkr\u00e4fte stand die betroffene H\u00fctte bereits in Vollbrand. Umgehend wurde ein umfassender L\u00f6schangriff von zwei Seiten gestartet. Vorrangiges Ziel war es, ein angrenzendes Wohnhaus sowie den nahegelegenen Wald vor den Flammen zu sch\u00fctzen. Dies gelang dank des raschen und koordinierten Einsatzes der Feuerwehren erfolgreich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach rund einer Stunde konnte \u201eBrand aus\u201c gegeben werden. Zwei Stunden nach der Alarmierung r\u00fcckten die eingesetzten Kr\u00e4fte wieder in ihre Feuerwehrh\u00e4user ein. Ein Tankl\u00f6schfahrzeug der FF Hollenstein\/Ybbs verblieb zur Durchf\u00fchrung einer Brandwache noch vor Ort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verletzt wurde bei dem Einsatz niemand. Die Brandursache ist Gegenstand weiterer Ermittlungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" data-effect=\"slide\" style=\"--aspect-ratio:calc(768 \/ 1024)\"><div
